Did You Know? When people do what they love, they are fully engaged and naturally more productive. If you want to find career “success” you need to have a vision of what you would love to do and a place where you would love to do it.

Define Your Good Life
Richard Leider, a nationally recognized expert on career development, says the good life is, Living in the place you belong… with the people you love…doing the right work…on purpose. Describe your future by explaining the where, who and what you would like to have in your future. Describe the possibilities.
  • Live in the place you belong. Describe where you would like to be living ten years from now.
  • Live with the people you love. Describe the kind of people you want to be with.
  • Do the kind of work you love to do. Name two or three jobs, you think you would like.
Match Up Your Information
The Holland Code is a simple assessment that helps identify what interests you. If you went through the MissingMajor.Com, your Holland Code is on your Personal Profile. If not, click here to take the Holland Code Quiz and get your three letter code. Then use your code and match it with 3 to 5 careers, listed on this site, that interest you.

In addition to the Holland Code, which defines your interests, you can learn more about your personality type by taking this personality self-assessment. These Personality Types are based on the Myers Briggs Types. You can review a list of careers that generally suit your type at Ball State University. Enter several careers that interest you.
